Patient transport scheme's volunteer call
A free scheme which helps people get to and from doctor’s appointments in Glasgow is looking for volunteer drivers.
South West Community Transport volunteers collect patients from their home and drive them to their doctor’s or hospital appointment and drive them back again.
The service runs all over Glasgow and is for people with limited mobility who can’t use public transport from their home.
Volunteer drivers will use their own cars and be paid mileage. Full training will also be provided.
To volunteer, call 880 5777 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
