Type of service provided
The Dennistoun base of the service provides Housing Support Services and Support Services to service users with a history of homelessness, mental health issues and addiction issues. There are eight service users, two of which are funded by supporting people and the other two by social work. Support is provided over a 24hr period which includes a sleepover.
The Dennistoun team consists of:

Service Users are provided with furnished tenancies and are supported in maintaining and managing these tenancies in an individual package of care. A multi-disciplinary approach is provided and includes regular input from social work, g.p, consultants, addictions team, homecare and other appropriate services.
How to make a referral and who to contact
Referrals would be directly linked to an individual having a history of homelessness, mental health issues or addiction issues. The referral process requires completion of a Loretto referral form and a Loretto Health and Safety checklist along with a suitable detailed assessment from the referring Agency/Care Manager.
The completed referral paperwork should then be forwarded to the Commissioning Officer:
