Type of service provided
Moffat St/Dennistoun provides a Housing Support and Care at Home Service to 26 men and women aged 18 yrs and over who have been affected by Homelessness, Alcohol and/or Mental Health Issues. The service operates on a 24hr basis with sleepover provision between the hours of 11pm and 8am.

The Service supports individuals who require support to maintain their tenancy in the long term. service users are supported to develop life skills, access services, make informed choices and decisions which will enable their tenancy to be sustained. Each Service User is housed in a permanent tenancy. The Support Package is devised according to the individual needs, preferences and aspirations of each Service user. The Service operates a multi agency approach which includes joint working with Statutory Agencies i.e. Health, Social Work, Housing. We also work with other Voluntary Agencies. The promotion of Partnership working assists to maximise the opportunity for Service users to maintain and sustain their tenancy.
How to make a referral and who to contact
The primary reason for referral to the service will be directly related to the individual being affected by Homelessness. In addition the Service has 4 placements which are specifically identified for individuals who have issues relating to Mental Health. The current referral process requires completion of a Loretto referral form and a Loretto Health and Safety checklist coupled with a detailed assessment provided by the referring agency /Care Manager.
